This Cook Island presentation which was presented at the Tweed Coast & Waterways Committee meeting, provides details of the Cook Island Aquatic Reserve, which has been established since 1998.
Most importantly, with this presentation the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development – Fisheries, invites local community involvement to be the eyes, ears and voice of the aquatic reserve, and to report any issues which may compromise the protection of the Cook Island Aquatic Reserve.
Please refer to pages 16 to 18, of the presentation, which is an incredibly important message to share with our community.
